okay, i’m writing this at 5:30 in the morning, i’ve been scrambling to prepare for burning man, so this isn’t going to be the best personal ad ever. more utilitarian than clever, but hopefully it’ll work. about me – i live in the san francisco bay area, and i’m thinking of moving to seattle next spring or summer. i’m looking to meet a fun, interesting seattle boy (or two or three). it’s august, and burning man is right around the corner. perfect way for us to meet up.





about me: i’m adventurous, outdoorsy, independent, fun, creative, playful, and silly. i like exploring both in the wilderness and in the big city. i’m equally at home scrambling over rocks or dressing up to go to a club. i love to travel and take road trips. i’ve driven all over the country and have spent a lot of time in particular in the southwest. i went canyoneering in utah last summer and it was definitely one of the most exciting things i’ve done. i love camping, hiking, climbing, and whitewater rafting (though i haven’t done nearly enough of the latter – i’d love to learn whitewater kayaking). part of my reason for wanting to move is to be closer to more outdoors activities.





i also really enjoy city life, and i go to a lot of parties and clubs. i love dressing up in costumes and staying up all night. i’m a dj, though i don’t do it that often. i was a dj on a local college radio station for about ten years, so i know a lot about indie music. my music taste is pretty diverse but i’m an indie pop girl at heart. i’m not even going to start naming my favorite bands because i do need to go to bed before the sun comes up. i also love unusual arty movies and dark comedies – you know, if it’s got steve buscemi or parker posey in it, or if it was made by hal hartley, christopher guest, or terry gilliam, i probably love it.





i try not to drink too much alcohol (though i sometimes fail with comic results), but there is plenty of other stuff i engage in, so if this is your thing, i’m your gal. if it’s not your thing, that’s okay too, as long as you’re okay with my choices.





about you: between ages 25-37, and you should be into some of those things above. i like guys who know how to make stuff, break stuff, fix stuff, and blow stuff up. the smarter the better. i’ll admit i’m kind of picky about physical attributes. i tend to be most attracted to guys who are tall, skinny, and in good shape/have an athletic (but not stocky) build. generally i’m not too fond of long hair on a guy. i like guys who are clean cut-looking on the outside and crazy on the inside (crazy in a good way though – adventurous, spontaneous, goofy, creative, playful, and fun). it’s a bonus if you know how to dress – in other words, your wardrobe is not comprised entirely of software release t-shirts, and you own some costumes. as for me, i’m told i’m very attractive so if you like cute, thin but curvy, red-headed girls who occasionally moonlight as fetish models, you probably won’t be disappointed.
