Well, the evening seemed to me like a harbinger of fall, which I quite liked. It also left me melancholy at times - and, yes, I like that, too. I baked cookies (for a co-worker’s bday tomorrow) and banana bread (to do something with the overripe bananas), while listening to KUOW: a good mix of stories of human decency with world news to get my head out of Seattle. This was a worthy evening for me, at a calmer pace than is often true (you know, work, exercise, “activities of daily living” …).
There are other evenings I’d rather go out for dinner or a movie or something with an engaging, male, going-out partner, and this is where you might come in. Please reply friendly-like if you’d like to meet a woman who is independent, intelligent, mature, and caring; whose sense of humor tends toward dry and sarcastic; and who is as interested in world affairs and human psychology, as curious and thoughtful, as you, yourself, are.
