Summary:
The Learning Resources team for Adobe Online Services is looking for a technical writer who has experience writing end-user documentation for web-hosted services. You must have solid writing skills, and be able to work hands-on with hosted services technology.
You'll join a small team of writers in San Jose or Seattle.
Responsibilities:
• Research, organize, and write Help content.
• Gather information by studying specs, working with products, and interacting with contacts in Engineering, Product Management, Technical Support, QA, and other organizations.
• Work with editors, other writers, production artists, instructional designers, and reviewers to refine content per each review.
• Recommend and review graphics to be included in the documentation.
• Deliver high quality work on time.
Requirements:
• 4-year college degree.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a technical writer preferably in software documentation development for the knowledge worker market.
• Experience documenting end-user documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise prose on deadline.
• Working knowledge of authoring tools such as FrameMaker.
• Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other team members.
Ideal:
• Experience working with web services.
• Experience using Structured FrameMaker or comparable authoring tools.
• Degree or course work in technical communication.
