Call Center - Claims Administrator

Garden City Group, Inc. (GCG) is looking for a Customer Service Representative/Claims Administrator to be a key part of our Communications Team. This position will be responsible for responding to a large volume of calls and e-mails from potential claimants in a variety of class action settlements. This position may also assist with other aspects of claims administration (such as claims processing) during times of lower call volume.
The ideal candidate for this position has 2+ years of customer service experience in a call-center environment, and the ability to maintain a calm, professional demeanor at all times. The ability to type quickly and accurately, and answer calls at the same time is also a must. Fluency in Spanish and/or additional languages a plus. Legal experience also a plus.
The ability to work at a fast pace is a must. Computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel are required. Database experience and familiarity with Lotus Notes a plus.
Must be dependable, have a strong work ethic and understand professional expectations.
This is a Temp to Hire position, with strong growth potential.
