Do you want to make a difference? Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and work on the most pressing environmental issues of our generation? Are you ready to stand up to the corporations that are compromising the integrity of our democracy?
Change doesn’t just happen. It takes hard work from dedicated individuals to build grassroots organizations from the ground up. This is more true today than ever before. Big, powerful special interests actively fight sensible solutions to environmental problems, government corruption and discrimination—so elected officials only act to bring about those solutions when they know the public is informed and ready to take action.
A jobs that matters. You will work in the political arena, getting your hands dirty, building organizations and fighting for the victories that put us on a more sustainable and more democratic course.
We know we can make a difference. For over 20 years, the Fund for Public Interest Research has been working with organizations like Sierra Club, Human Rights Campaign, the state PIRGs and Environmental Action to win concrete victories for the public interest. We are the nation’s premier non-profit for raising money, building membership and winning grassroots campaigns.
We need your help. Whether we are talking about our environment, human rights or democracy, the reality is that there are a lot of problems out there. Special interests are spending millions to convince our leaders to ignore the serious problems we are facing. We don't
have that kind of money to buy politicians. That’s why our jobs, building public support on these issues and bringing solutions to the table, are so critical. Our jobs are great. You get to work on issues that matter, learn great skills, work with cool people and have fun.
Make $400-$600 per week.
Career opportunities and benefits available: guaranteed base pay, incentive pay, vacation and sick time, health care benefits, retirement plan and more!
We are looking for people with energy, a talent for
communication, and a passion for social change, and have a great training
program that can help you build your skills.
