_Responsibilities



Design and develop multiplayer levels for a first person action game. Emphasis is on creating strong, tactically interesting layouts for free-for-all and team-oriented gameplay.

Collaborate with Lead Designer and other team members to brainstorm, prototype, and implement team-oriented multiplayer modes.

Work closely with other level designers and programmers on development and refinement of game design, tools, and engine features.

Work closely with Quality Assurance and playtesters to identify and resolve gameplay and level design issues.

Work as a team leader and strive to maximize team performance.

Maintain a positive work atmosphere and communicate in a professional manner with co-workers and publishers.





_Qualifications



Experience as a level designer for PC or console games on published titles.

Experience in multi-player game design. Be prepared to discuss design philosophy.

Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Solid technical foundation with 3D applications.

Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines.

Willing to work long hours if required.

Art or engineering skills a definite plus.

Knowledge of the LithTech editor (DEdit) preferred.
