Sage Commerce, a local e-commerce company based in Queen Anne, is looking for a writer to create product descriptions and other informational articles for our websites. We sell mainly gourmet kitchen and home décor items, though we are always expanding our offering. Many of our products require in depth and detailed descriptions, though some are more basic. As we are expanding rapidly, our need for descriptions and other website content is extensive and ongoing, and we are therefore looking for someone to work with us in our office for a minimum of ten hours each week as a long-term part-time position. Our office is small, pleasant, quiet, and informal. You would most likely be working on evenings and/or weekends, at a time that works best for you, with the office either entirely or mostly to yourself. At some point, your work may also include supervising and coordinating the work of other writers. Although the pace of work will be brisk with continuous loose deadlines, you will be mostly autonomous and self-regulating in a comfortable work environment.
