Change doesn't just happen.

It takes hard work from dedicated individuals to build grassroots organizations from the ground up. This is more true today than ever before. You will work in the political arena, getting your hands dirty, building organizations and fighting for the victories that put us on a more sustainable and more democratic course.
We know we can make a difference.
For over 20 years, the Fund for Public Interest Research has been working with organizations like Sierra Club, Human Rights Campaign, U.S. PIRG and Environmental Action to win concrete victories for the public interest. We are the nations premier non-profit for raising money, building membership and winning grassroots campaigns.
We need your help.
Whether we are talking about our environment, human rights or democracy, the reality is that there are a lot of problems out there. Special interests are spending millions to convince our leaders to ignore the serious problems we are facing. We don't
have that kind of money to buy politicians. That's why our jobs, building public support on these issues and bringing solutions to the table, are so critical. Our jobs are great. You get to work on issues that matter, learn great skills, work with cool people and have fun.
