I am a single part-time father looking for a cool house share in Madrona. My child is enrolled at Madrona elementary and I am student at Seattle University so we are looking to reduce our current commute time. While I am in school we are on a fixed housing budget of $800.00. I am looking for a place within walking distance of my child's school that would be kid friendly and generally mellow. I would prefer a housemate with kids that is looking for help with and is willing to share in some of the parental duties. Other than my class schedule I am fairly flexible and am willing to help out around the house too. I was a homeowner before I went back to school and am handy around the house and understand what the never ending job of parenting and homeownership.
