A documentation team is looking for an individual to create and deliver high-quality documentation for communication protocols. This team has a critical, high visibility role in meeting legal and business requirements. The primary functions of this position are to use your technical skills and industry experience to document complex networking technologies.

This is an estimated 180 - 365 Day contract through Volt Technical & Creative Communication - a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, which is headquartered in Bothell, Washington. Required Skills for this Programmer Writer includes the following:

1 to 2 years experience in the software industry

Exposure to networking principles and communication protocols (ex. TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, UDP)

Ability to read XML

1 to 2 years of professional programming experience; coding skills in C and C++ (ability to read/interpret) in Windows or non-Windows code development

Excellent writing skills

Ability to produce high quality results under tight deadlines

A track record for fostering and driving collaboration and problem solving efforts across groups
