Join this very technical software development in test team in downtown Seattle! You will contribute to ongoing projects as well as help train and mentor other QA analysts.



As a BSA on this team, you’ll interact with the entire Financial Dept (Controllers, Accountants, Financial Analysts, General Ledger, AP/AR, Procurement, etc.) as well as outsourced Developers to conduct analysis of customer needs and create requirements documents to enhance the functionality of PeopleSoft applications.



You’ll be required to take on lead roles in driving smaller projects forward and coordinate enhancements. Some initiatives include Pay to Procure Optimization (P2P) charged with improving procurement workflows, archiving data workflows, adding enhancements, process improvements, provide suggestions on efficiency and implement new functionality.

You’ll also be providing recommendations for process improvements and change management for smaller projects, including creating the necessary documentation for changes requested by clients to help minimize scope creep. You’ll have the opportunity to assist with improving our financial reporting as well.



Experience:



* Experience as a Business Analyst working with package software, including the upgrade process, along with experience working with vendors

* Proven ability to work in a distributed environment; experience in a mainframe environment would be ideal.
* Experience creating business requirements for reports and home grown software.
* 2 – 4 years of PeopleSoft experience, particularly Financial Modules.

* Proven analytical and project management skills, technical aptitude, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and demonstrated leadership ability.
* Demonstrated ability to analyze business problems and recommend solutions, ability to track, and escalate systems problems.
* Comfort with ITIL processes and be able to discuss the value of these processes with customers involved in joint projects.
* Strong customer service skills and the ability to determine priorities with customer.

* Ability to deal with ambiguity is a must
* A strong desire to achieve results, a commitment to continuous improvement, and persistence in the face of obstacles.
* Insurance knowledge is helpful

* RUP experience is highly desirable as we’re in the process of implementing RUP
