Senior Program Manager
Drive programs/projects from project initiation through delivery. Interface with clients on technical and business issues. Create and/or review multiple functional specifications that will be used as tools in making decisions as to how the product or service will be implemented. Provide Product Managers & Product Unit Managers with technical and/or analytical information. Organize cross functional activities ensuring the program/project is completed on schedule and within budget and quality constraints. Provide program/project schedules and status reports.
Qualifications
* 8-12 years work related experience.
* Management skills, including ability to work within a budget and direct program/project (may be multiple).
* Proven skills in traditional program management process areas, including but not limited to scope, time, cost, quality, risk and change management.
* Ability to build consensus.
* Ability to present persuasively across communication settings.
* Ability to facilitate and manage dialog necessary for requirements collection, funcdtional analysis and documentation
* Sound business-related skills including judgement and decision making skills.
* Specialized knowledge as defined by program/project.
* Sufficient familiarity with contemporary technologies (.net v2/v3, SQL, asp/aspx) necessary to manage a team(s) in a cross functional software engineering environment.
* Ability to think strategically.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Experience in creating and overseeing a creative and/or technical team (may be multiple).
